RVD's
foreword - Theres a huge Tag Team Match on this weeks Raw.. 'Y2J' Chris Jericho and the
'World Champion' Rock v.s. the 'I.C. Champion' Jeff Hardy and the 'World Title #1
Contende' Rob Van Dam.. One Hell of a match right here and quite frankly, if you think you
can predict this match.. then your crazy. One thing is for sure, the winners are going to
have a challenge in front of them and is sure as he'll not going to be an easy task.
The scene opens up here backstage at
an arena.. The audience laugh as we see Jeff Hardy hanging upside down from a bar,
stretching out his body as his Intercontinental title dangles beside him. JEff quickly
hops down from the bar gently as he grabs a towel and wipes the sweat from his brow.. He
is breathing quite heavily as we see Terri Runnells appraoching Jeff from his left.. she
is talking to a backstage worker.. Jeff gets a full eyeful of Terri's chest.. Jeff shakes
his head..

just like The Rock!..
Jeff
stares down at the floor before lifting himself back up onto the bar.. He looks set to
pull a few chin-ups, but he decides against it as he grabs his IC Title and sits back
down. He takes another deep breath as he looks at Terri, who is still chatting..

Extremeist " Jeff Hardy: ..
Nothing but a pretty face.. that's all you are Rock. Sure, you may be PWO World Champion,
thats a given Rock, but when it comes down to it, you got lucky! Let's face it, Clash of
the Champions wasn't the only time lady luck was by your side, need i remind you.. Rock..
lady luck paid you a very fortunate and well timed visit when we met first time around,
just short of a month ago!

Hardy stands slowly to his feet..

this time around Rock, things are going to be a lot.. lot different.. I've got RVD in my
corner, and god, I don't like the man one bit Rock, but im confident enough in his
abilities to know that hes got my back come Raw is War.. Deep in the pit of your stomach
Rock, you know RVD owns your ass!.. Come PPV time, your going to find, that that title you
hold so dear, will belong to the Whole.. F'N.. Show.. Rob.. Van.. Dam.. Rest assured Rock,
you and your so called partner Chris Jericho dotn have a damn thing on us!.. Your stepping
into the rign with the combined force, of the Intercontinental Champion and the World #1
contender.. Together, we don't need any luck whatsoever.. We were both put onto this earth
to take the word, 'extreme' and redefine it and thats exactly what we are going to do,
once again, come Monday night..

Hardy starts walking down the dorridor.. lights flikcer on and off as a few people point
JEff out as the IC champion.. Jeff just walks on, unaffected.. Jeff continues to talk to
himself, almost re-assuring himself..

know Rock.. people thought that I would retire, before I even got a chance, to do
something constructive with my career...do you know..."why"...that is Rock?..
I'll tell you why it's because I was thought to be 2-Xtreme, for this business!.. Hell,
even though, I clearly had more talent than my brother Matt.. he was predicted, as the one
who would take all the gold!.. And why?.. Because he was always in control of his life..
he didn't.. and still doesn't, live for the moment.. he doesn't take the chances I do. ..
Rock, let me make one thing crystal clear.. I'm glad! I'm glad I took those chances,
because if I hadn't?...I wouldn't have had the chance to be where I am today.. sitting
here as the PWO Intercontinental Champion.. Hell, Jericho didn't even see my coming Rock,
and neither will you.. when your ass is lying flat on the mat as you look up in vain, at
the unstoppable phenomenom, that is, Poetry.. In Motion!

Hardy walks past a corridor.. he sees a jobber being yelled out by his coach..

it!.. It's over! Thanks to that mistake, your career, it's.. it's.. in TATTERS!..

Hardy smiles as he continues on down the corridor.. We hear the coaches voice fade gently
into the background..

only thing ending up in tatters come Monday night Rock, will be your undefeated streak
here so far in the PWO! You see Rock, Jeff Hardy is a different breed of superstars to
what you usually come to expect! Where others have fallen at your feet.. including me..
Jeff Hardy won! make a habbit of falling once again, for a second time! This Monday, I'm
looking to make more than a statement to all the people who have doubted both my
capabilities and my will to be the best! Come Monday, you will meet your destiny...its
right here in fornt of you Rock.. Because if Rob Van Dam doesn't get the job done,
make no mistake.. I WILL!

Hardy drops his title momentarily.. he picks up it, shines off the dust and takes a look
around.. he wanders down another corridor, almost aimlessly, like a lost soul.. Again, he
continues to talk to himself, almost as if re-assuring himself..Anyone this cocky needs it
lets face it!

..Rock.. and Jericho.. pffv, they are exactly alike! They both talk an incredible game,
but when it comes down to it, they dont even come close, to comparing with either Jeff
Hardy.. or R.. V.. D!.. People like The Rock and Jericho, they're only out there to make a
big deal out of themselves.. Thats what sets me apart, I dont wanna be a superstar, all I
want is the chance to fight against the best this business has to offer.. And for once,
The Rock and Jericho come under that category whether you like it or not....But if either
of them think, that Jeff Hardy will be 'the weak lin' in this match-up, they better think
again.. Jeff Hardy is not a quitter.. never have.. never will be! Above all, im a
risk taker! Some call me a daredevil...but the fact is.. Whatever the time.. whatever the
day.. whatever...the moment.. I always live up to my word.. Rest assured, Monday night on
Raw.. I WILL..
Jeff Hardy takes a seat
on a nearby bench as he lies down.. almost as if getting some shut-eye.. Is he sleeping,
or just contemplating?.. Jeff closes his eyes, hugging his title close as a couple of
people walk by.. The cameras fade to black, as Jeff Hardy opens one eye and smiles..
